Our Inspirational Beginning
Our story began with a heartfelt dream, nurtured by Frikkie and Zanelle Barnard, proud parents of Frederick, a child with unique abilities. Their vision was simple yet profound: to create a sanctuary for families like theirs, facing the daily challenges of raising exceptional children.
Driven by this passion, Warrior House emerged from the seeds of community collaboration. Inspired by the Moorreesburg Warriors project initiated by Dirkie Uys High School in 2022, spearheaded by, Isabel Crous, our foundation took root and began to flourish.
A Journey of Hope, grounded in Reality.
From humble beginnings, we’ve embarked on a journey to realize our biggest aspirations. As the saying goes, “Shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you’ll be among the stars.” Our dream knows no bounds—we envision a future where every unique ability child has access to specialized education and care, right here in the heart of the Swartland, in Moorreesburg.
But as we strive toward this goal, our focus remains grounded in the present.

Warrior House Foundation Trust is more than just a name—it’s a promise of support, symbolized by the colors of life, hope, courage, and strength. Green for the vitality that each child embodies, yellow for the optimism that lights our path, and red for the bravery that defines our community.
